Lola came into our lives in early May soon after Cricket left with her furever family. When I picked Lola up for transport she was on the brink of a meltdown and as we soon learned she's afraid of everything that is beyond her limited comfort zone. She is a total doll though as long as she's inside the home. She was also underweight at 45 pounds and it would take a few weeks for her to calm down which is quite normal for rescue dogs coming in.

It's really hard not to fall in love with a dog like Lola so it was not a surprise when it was proposed that we foster fail her. As of early June Lola's officially a member of the household. We have a long journey ahead though to get her used to people, other dogs and new situations. She's been getting better at it day by day:)
