Week Notes Vol 162

June 06, 2022

This week for the first time since December 2019 I met up with my knitting group in person. We celebrate Christmas in July and it had been so long that I received presents for both 2020 and 2021 from folks who opted not to ship them. We all have aged over the last few years, the number of kids has gone up but it was nice to see that the spunk and spice that keeps this group going is still there. We used to hang out at a local yarn store called Knit Purl before it went out of business so it was only appropriate to meet after a hiatus across the street at Multnomah Whiskey Library. Yes, we have turned into those women who have memberships at places that sell expensive liquor.
