Week Notes Vol 18
September 05, 2019
I have been reflecting on my career path quite a bit this week as I am reading a book by someone who on the surface had career trajectory similar to mine. Vahur and I were both members of Tartu NAK (Young Authors’ League), both attended the same high school that was essentially a prep-school for those going for MBAs. Both of us have worked as journalists and in various PR departments. He writes poetry and novels, makes electronic music and experimental short films. I live across the world, write code on Fridays and weekends and only pen random occasional thoughts on paper. His world is surrounded by tiny Estonian hills while I conquer mountaintops in PNW. It’s hard to say which one of these lives is more correct or more common.
