Week Notes Vol 186
November 27, 2022
As a foreigner in the US, I look at my lived experience as both curse and a blessing. Some parts of it make me more effective, some parts slow me down. References to pre-90s US pop culture are lost on me. Meanwhile everything since then is fair game.
I’ve been slowly acquiring skills in areas that weren’t accessible to me as a kid of the soviet era - this week’s challenge (and probably for months ahead) is learning how to roller skate. It might seem trivial - the beauty of being older is that I can learn what I want and have means to hire experts to help me succeed.
