Week Notes Vol 26
November 03, 2019
I bought a wedding dress at Goodwill two years ago. It felt theraupetic after the recent turmoil in my life. I had also never had the experinece of neither wearing a wedding dress or getting all dressed up for Halloween. My plan had originally been to dress up as zombie bride in 2018 but I was out of the country. Fast forward to 2019 - I knew I’d have out of town guests for Halloween and they agreed to join my wedding party. It took us over 3 hours to get ready but I’d say it was definitely worth it.
I find that many things in life are worth planning and waiting for. The difficult aspect is figuring out when enough’s enough and it is time to move on. In general, if the change you are pursuing does not make you at least a little terrified then you aren’t pushing far enough from your average. And when you do, you are never bored. At least that’s my 2c on living a life that’s more than just a dull existance.
