Week Notes Vol 28
November 16, 2019
It’s been a rough few weeks trying to navigate project planning season where most of the stakeholders gather in the office. Looking at my Tripit history I have been down to the bay area a lot this year - on average once a month. I have the privilege of having a lifestyle that accommodates it but it does make me wonder about the feasibility of such trips for most people. What if I had outstanding committments that reqired me to be in Portland mid-week? It’s one of the reasons why I dropped out of ICS even though I wanted to do it this year because I knew I’d have to miss enough lectures due to work.
In theory what I have is a remote position. In reality I am working at a company that is remote tolerating.
