Three weeks into a new job and I can definitely say there’s a significant difference in onboarding for a fully-remote company and company gone remote due to COVID. As it looks we’re in it for a long haul I went digging for processes that work and don’t quite work in this new reality. One of the examples I found is from Transferwise and has some good points:
- Get access quickly
- Understand and set expecations about working hours
- Get to know your colleagues
- Asking questions - who/when/how
