Wondering Wanderer

Week Notes Vol 93

February 14, 2021

Portland as a city is pretty useless when it snows. No, it’s not because people don’t know how to drive here (although it is somewhat true) but rather because it first rains, then freezes and then snows on top of it all. This year for the first time ever public transporation stopped running. I-84 was closed in both directions and thousands of people lost power as trees covered in ice were rooted from the ground. Sounds surreal, right?
